FIGAN 2027 Presents the Progress of Its 18th Edition at Its Second Organizing Committee Meeting

Feria de Zaragoza held the second Organizing Committee meeting for the eighteenth edition of FIGAN, the International Animal Production Fair, to take place from March 16 to 19, 2027. Nine months ahead of the event, the fair already has 520 registered exhibiting brands, 25 newly enrolled companies and confirmed participants from 19 countries, including Germany, Canada, China, the United States, France, Italy and Japan. The committee, chaired by Ramón Alsina, president and CEO of bonÀrea Agrupa, brings together the leading companies and organizations of the livestock sector, and this edition incorporates CONAFE, the confederation coordinating Spain's Friesian breed associations. FIGAN will again promote its international missions program in collaboration with ICEX trade offices to attract livestock producers and machinery importers from markets such as Argentina, Mexico, Brazil, Morocco and Turkey. The meeting also addressed the Technical Improvements Competition, with Technological Improvement and Technological Innovation categories and registration open until October 2026, and the sixth edition of the Excellence Award, whose entries will for the first time be submitted as videos of up to ten minutes. The fair is also launching a completely renewed exhibitor management platform and will strengthen its generational renewal initiatives, such as FIGAN Conecta Talento, aiming to remain southern Europe's great meeting point for the livestock sector.
