FIMA 2026 Awards Ceremony Recognises Agricultural Innovation and Social Commitment
The FIMA 2026 Technical Innovations Competition and Excellence Award ceremony took place on the evening of February 11 at the Paraninfo of the University of Zaragoza. The jury awarded three Outstanding Technical Innovation prizes and six Technical Innovation recognitions across categories covering tractors, autonomous robots, driven machines, and digital agronomic management. Among the outstanding winners were the VARIOSMART system by Kuhn Ibérica for precision fertiliser distribution, the GS direct seeder by Maquinaria Agrícola Solà for pasture-preservation sowing, and the DualCleaning-600-H by ITM Filters for zebra mussel prevention in irrigation infrastructure. Technical recognition also went to the RoboCOMPACT radio-controlled machine by Energreen, the RE3075 autonomous tracked robot for viticulture by Maquinaria Agrícola Segúes and Black Shire, the MFLOW hydraulic system by Industrias David, the OPTISEED dosing system by Kuhn Ibérica, the SWS intelligent weighing system by Manitou, and Corner Control and OptiPoint Pro by Kuhn Ibérica. The 5th FIMA Excellence Award was presented to Centro Especial de Empleo Gardeniers, supported by ATADES, recognised for managing more than 20 hectares of certified organic farmland while providing inclusive employment for people with disabilities aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The evening concluded with the inaugural Encuentro FIMA 2026 networking event.
