Fruit Attraction 2026 Advances at a Good Pace and Tops 90% Occupancy

Fruit Attraction, the International Fruit and Vegetable Trade Show organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will hold its 18th edition from October 6 to 8 and already records occupancy above 90% five months ahead, as confirmed by director María José Sánchez at the presentation alongside FEPEX's Cecilio Peregrín and Ignacio Antequera and ICEX's María Naranjo. Net exhibition space allocated so far reaches 72,000 m², just 2,000 m² short of last edition's total, with companies from 63 countries confirmed. Forecasts point to more than 2,500 companies, 80,000 m² of produce offering and over 121,000 professionals from 150 countries. The fair will occupy 10 halls (162,000 m² gross), keeping last year's layout: odd-numbered halls for the national offer and Innova&Tech, even-numbered ones for the international offer and Fresh Food Logistics, plus Auxiliary Industry areas across most halls. The potato will be this year's star product, deemed strategic for food security, and the Organic Tour returns to spotlight certified organic producers. The International Buyers Program, with the Agriculture Ministry, ICEX and FEPEX, will invite 700 major buyers from more than 50 countries, with China and the United Arab Emirates as guest importing countries. The Best Stand Awards, the Innovation Hub Awards and a forum program featuring the Avocado Congress and Biofruit Congress complete the offering.
