Fruit Attraction Launches a New Edition of the Innovation Hub Awards

Fruit Attraction has once again launched the Innovation Hub Awards, the prizes for innovation and entrepreneurship in the fruit and vegetable sector aimed at exhibiting and co-exhibiting companies presenting the best project, product or service for the industry, judged on criteria of innovation, sustainability, applied technology and knowledge. Companies participating in Fruit Attraction 2026 can submit their entries through the website until September 2, provided they are products, technological solutions or services whose commercialization began after September 1, 2025 and that have not participated in previous editions of the award. The awards maintain their three usual categories — Fresh Produce Award, F&V Industry Award, and Sustainability and Commitment Actions — each with a cash prize of 2,000 euros. All qualifying entries will display their products in the Innovation Hub area, located in the passage between Halls 5 and 7, during the three days of the fair. In the last edition, the awards recognized the most outstanding products and services among a total of 50 entries and 9 finalists: the Fresh Produce award went to IRTA (Institute of Agrifood Research and Technology); Edencore won in the F&V Industry category; and Pallet Sure took the Sustainability and Commitment Actions prize. Fruit Attraction, organized by IFEMA MADRID and FEPEX, will be held from October 6 to 8 with especially positive forecasts pointing to more than 2,500 participating companies, 162,000 square meters across 10 halls and more than 121,000 professionals from over 150 countries.
