Gastronomic Forum Barcelona 2026 Will Grow in Capacity and Exhibition Offering

Gastronomic Forum Barcelona returns from November 2 to 4, 2026 with an edition that marks a turning point: its move to Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via venue will let it grow up to 12% over 2025 and gather more than 450 companies from hospitality, gastronomy and foodservice. Over 93% of last edition's companies will repeat, including Damm, Makro, BonÀrea, Transgourmet, Unox, Caviaroli and Bidfood, joined by more than 200 small producers exhibiting individually through institutions such as Prodeca, the Xunta de Galicia, Extremadura — a first-timer — and the provincial councils of Burgos, A Coruña, Barcelona, Lleida, Girona and Tarragona, the latter also debuting, reinforcing the show's bond with local produce. The program will revolve around tradition as a creative engine, structured along three lines: reinterpreting tradition from different territorial realities; new restaurant formats, with special attention to the revaluation of the bar counter; and attracting new audiences with a focus on Generation Z and young talent. Pastry, bakery, charcuterie, fishmongery and ice cream will have dedicated programming, and awards include Best Chef with La Vanguardia, the Innoforum, the Mercader Prize, The Baker and Spain's Best Panettone. The 2025 edition gathered 400 companies and over 21,800 professional visitors, with 180 experts and 190 gastronomic sessions.
