GINI Holds Third Global Innopolis Forum at Transfiere 2026 in Málaga
The Global Innopolis Network Initiative (GINI), an international network of cities and regions promoting scientific and technological innovation, will hold its Third Global Innopolis Forum in Málaga, Spain on 24 February 2026 as part of Transfiere 2026 at FYCMA. Founded in 2023, GINI brings together Daejeon (South Korea), Dortmund (Germany), Málaga (Spain), Montgomery County and Seattle (USA), and Quebec province (Canada). The 2026 theme is From Shared Vision to Strategic Alliance, with four workshops covering deep-tech university collaboration, international investment, R&D synergies, and AI scaling. Around 60 delegates are expected, including 43 from Daejeon. A High-Level Leaders Assembly will also convene to elect a new GINI president, reinforcing the network as a key platform for inter-governmental innovation cooperation.
