H&T 2026 Opens 28th Edition in Malaga with 600 Exhibitors and Focus on Hospitality Innovation

H&T Salon de Innovacion en Hosteleria opened its 28th edition on February 2 at FYCMA in Malaga, running through February 4. More than 600 companies and specialist entities participated — a hundred more than the previous edition — across 29,500 square metres in three fully occupied pavilions. Inaugural speeches by the Mayor of Malaga, the Andalusia Regional Tourism Minister, the President of Malaga Provincial Council, and sector association leaders conveyed a unanimous message: hospitality, hotel, and tourism are key economic engines underpinned by innovation, digitisation, sustainability, and artificial intelligence. Three-Michelin-star chef Eduard Xatruch of Disfrutar delivered the keynote on the Main Stage. Concurrent programmes included Kitchen Lab live cooking demonstrations, the Europastry Be Baker Contest, Aula Makro training workshops, and wine tastings culminating in the finals of the Premios Mejores Vinos H&T 2026. On February 3, the VI Foro Nacional de Hosteleria takes place, featuring chef Tono Perez of Atrio. Hours are 10:00-19:00 on Monday and Tuesday, and 10:00-16:30 on Wednesday.
