Hispack 2027 Plans Its 20th Edition with 900-Plus Exhibitors and Packaging Regulation Focus

Hispack, the leading packaging, process and logistics trade show in the Iberian market, is preparing its 20th edition from 4-7 May 2027 at Fira de Barcelona Gran Via, marking 45 years of history. The event targets over 900 exhibitors — a 10% increase on 2024 — and 37,000 visitors, with 15% international attendance. The show will co-locate with Graphispag, the graphics industry fair, bringing combined totals above 1,000 exhibitors. Five key sectors will be represented: industrial packaging, packaging for manufacturers and brands, process and packaging machinery, labelling and bottling, and logistics, robotics and automation. The edition will spotlight EU Regulation 2025/40 (PPWR), which requires all packaging to be reusable or recyclable by 2030 and enters force six months before the fair. A 20th anniversary gala dinner at the Museu Nacional d Art de Catalunya will gather over 400 industry leaders and institutional representatives.
