Horeca Awards 2026 Recognize 11 Most Innovative Hospitality Projects at Alimentaria+Hostelco

The Horeca Awards 2026, organized by Alimentaria+Hostelco, recognized eleven standout initiatives in the hospitality and food service sector. In Collective Catering, Eudec Food won for its 5th-generation textured dish range for people with dysphagia. Best Kitchen Project went to Welbilt Iberia for Afterlife FoodHub, a modular gastronomy container deployable in under 48 hours. Garden Pizza Family took the Organized Catering prize for its sustainable family dining concept. La Barra del Indiano won in Independent Catering for its monthly tasting menu blending Spanish roots with Peruvian creativity. Ilunion Hotels received Best Hotel F&B for Umaniko, where over 70 percent of the team are people with disabilities. Hotel Alimara Barcelona won the Interior Design prize for Gastrosense, integrating computational neuroscience and multisensory design at restaurant SUMMUM. Fishology Foods won Restaurama for its fish-based charcuterie reducing waste from 54 to 3 percent. Unox took Full Equipped for EVEREO, a hot refrigerator keeping food at serving temperature for days. Iberital won Bakery and Pastry for the VISTA espresso machine. Proppos claimed Tech with its AI vision platform for kitchens and dining halls. Career Achievement went to pastry master Jordi Butron. The show also awarded the first Best Bread Prize to Iker Oroz of Anik Panaderia. Alimentaria+Hostelco hosts 3,300 exhibitors across 100,000 sqm and expects over 110,000 professional visitors, 25 percent international.
