Iberzoo Propet 2026 Sets Attendance Record with 21,000+ Visitors, Rebrands as IBERPET 2027

Iberzoo Propet 2026, the international pet industry trade fair held at IFEMA MADRID March 11-13, closed its ninth edition with record results, consolidating its position as the leading reference for the companion animal sector in southern Europe. The fair welcomed more than 21,000 professional visitors, a 10 percent increase over 2025 and the highest attendance in its history. A total of 302 exhibitor companies (+11 percent), representing 1,200 brands, occupied 9,975 square meters of net exhibition space (+3.5 percent), with 72 international firms from 19 countries and a 5 percent rise in foreign visitors from 61 nations. The Spanish pet industry generated 3,069 million euros in revenue in 2025 (+7.4 percent), with over 46,900 direct and 356,000 indirect jobs; Spain is home to more than 30 million pets. The VetMadrid 2026 Congress drew more than 2,400 veterinarians and 30 international speakers, while the VIII Forum AEDPAC registered 746 participants (+24 percent). Queen Sofia attended the opening day. The next edition will be rebranded as IBERPET 2027 and will take place March 10-12, 2027 at IFEMA MADRID.
