IFEMA MADRID posts 2025 revenue of €216.8m and net profit of €18.7m, with a 24% share of the Spanish trade fair market
IFEMA MADRID presented its 2025 economic and activity results after approval by its governing board, reporting revenue of €216.8 million and profit of €18.7 million. Compared with 2023, the most recent odd-numbered year and therefore the like-for-like benchmark given biennial shows, revenue rose 22%, net result jumped 165.8% and EBITDA reached €42.8 million, up 56.8%. Growth rested on stronger performance by its main fairs and on higher space sales: net exhibition space sold reached 1,371,990 square metres in 2025, 28% more than in 2023, with 27,670 exhibiting companies taking part and foreign companies exceeding 22% of the total. The 2025 programme comprised 75 trade fairs, 24 of them also in digital format, 14 congresses, 4 fairs held abroad, 46 large public events and 566 conventions and other events. José Vicente de los Mozos, president of the IFEMA MADRID executive committee, said the figures consolidate Madrid's position as a global venue for fairs, congresses and conventions and strengthen the organisation for major projects such as Formula 1. The results confirmed IFEMA MADRID as the leading trade fair organiser in Spain with a 24% share of the national market, ahead of both other venue institutions and the large private operators active in the country.
