jwc Global Exhibition Market Ranking: China and USA Lead, Spain Reaches Top 5

Exhibition consultancy jwc has published its first multidimensional country ranking of global exhibition markets, revealing that China and the United States lead overall while France overtakes Germany in third place. Spain ranks fifth, followed by Italy, the UAE, India, the Netherlands, and Singapore to complete the top ten. The ranking applies a framework evaluating demand fundamentals, competitive dynamics, venue capacity, ecosystem readiness, and business conditions. Three segment-based sub-rankings show distinct leaders: the market-driven segment is led by India, followed by China and the USA; the competition-driven segment is led by China, followed by Bahrain and Kuwait; the ecosystem-driven segment is led by Singapore, with Spain in second and Germany third. jwc executive chairman Jochen Witt noted that simplified rankings can be misleading, as markets excel for very different strategic reasons.
