The Spanish Trade Fairs Association adds 3 new members and reaches 58

The board of the Spanish Trade Fairs Association (AFE) has unanimously approved the admission of IberStand, Grupo Intermedio and SQM Soluciones Multimedia as collaborating members, bringing the association to 58 members. IberStand, founded in 1998 with facilities in Toledo and Madrid and a workforce of 35 professionals, specialises in the design, production and assembly of stands for fairs, congresses and events. Grupo Intermedio, created in 1997 with offices in Bilbao, Madrid and Barcelona and a team of more than 40, is a benchmark in stand design, corporate events, art exhibitions and outdoor installations, with a firm environmental commitment. SQM Soluciones Multimedia, a Barcelona-based audiovisual technology company operating since 2009 with backing from its Polish headquarters and a UK base, provides AV, LED, lighting, sound and rigging solutions, including LED spheres, kinetic LED walls and transparent LED. AFE president Xabier Basañez said the notable growth in both organiser and collaborator members reinforces the conviction that 'the trade fair industry is made up of different agents whose collaboration is essential'. The association also reported that the 3rd AFE-APCE Congress, to be held in Córdoba from 8 to 11 July at the CEFC and the Congress Palace, has already met its registration targets, though a few last-minute sign-ups may still be admitted. Founded in 1964, AFE represents 90% of Spain's trade fair activity.
