Raquel Pérez, first woman to chair DOCa Rioja, named president of Barcelona Wine Week 2027

The board of Fira de Barcelona has appointed Raquel Pérez Cuevas, current president of the regulatory council of the DOCa Rioja designation of origin, as president of the organising committee of Barcelona Wine Week 2027, the leading trade fair for quality Spanish wine. Pérez has a long career in the wine industry and is the first woman to preside over DOCa Rioja in its hundred-year history.
