Feria del Vehículo Selección Ocasión tops 13,000 visitors and sets the market trend
Valencia's Feria del Vehículo Selección Ocasión closed with a very positive outcome: nearly 13,000 visitors, surpassing the previous edition, which was still shaped by the 'DANA effect' and the exceptional wave of purchases to replace flood-damaged cars. Exhibitors estimate that more than a thousand transactions were completed over the fair's three days, a figure that confirms the market's progressive return to normal in the province. The event revealed a shift in demand, with growing prominence of vehicles under five years old — valued for their balance of price, equipment and warranties — and the steady advance of electrified vehicles, in line with the near-30% growth in used electrified car sales in the Valencian Community in the first quarter. The simultaneous 2nd Caravaning Fair broadened the visitor profile, drawing a notably family-oriented audience. Dealers report buyers arriving with more mature purchase decisions, comparing options and prioritising energy efficiency, mileage and environmental labels. The chairman of the Organising Committee, Sergio Torregrosa, said the fair 'once again proves it is the best thermometer of the market' and a key tool for energising dealers' and brands' commercial activity, consolidating its role as the sector's showcase in the Valencian Community.
