Festur Fair Expands Its Map of Celebrations, Gathering 66 Galician Festivals of Tourist Interest from June 4 to 7

The 12th Fair of Festivals of Tourist Interest, Festur 2026, will be held from June 4 to 7 together with the Turexpo Galicia tourism show and in parallel with the 48th Abanca Semana Verde de Galicia. The event, supported by the Galician Tourism Agency, brings together 66 festivals of tourist interest from the four Galician provinces this year, 10% more than last year and the highest figure since the fair was launched in 2014. These festivals, holding international, national or Galician recognition, are represented through 50 municipalities and geo-destinations, which display material from their celebrations and will carry out activities both at their stands and in a common area of the fair, with tastings and exhibitions depending on their character. Among the festivals represented are the Viking Pilgrimage of Catoira, the Festa do Cocido of Lalín, the International Celtic World Festival of Ortigueira, the Seafood Festival of O Grove, the Rapa das Bestas of Viveiro and the Octopus Festival of O Carballiño. The program includes exhibitions such as the lace makers of the Camariñas Lace Show, the crafting of a Corpus Christi flower carpet from Ponteareas and pottery demonstrations from Buño, along with tastings of products such as A Cañiza ham, Coristanco potatoes and Cea bread.
