Galiforest Abanca 2026 opens a record edition with 387 exhibiting firms from 31 countries across 18,162 sqm
The forestry show Galiforest Abanca 2026 opens on the woodland of the Sergude Agricultural Training and Experimentation Centre in Boqueixón, A Coruña, running until Saturday. It has 125 direct exhibitors, 17% more than the previous edition, from 8 countries, up 14%. Fourteen of these are international, from Portugal, Italy, Brazil, Latvia, the Czech Republic, Romania and the Netherlands, a 27.2% increase, making it the fair's most international edition both by number of foreign direct exhibitors, 11.2% of the total, and by countries represented. Counting direct exhibitors together with the companies they represent, the total reaches 387 exhibiting firms, up 7.5%, from 31 countries, up 10.7%, occupying 18,162 square metres, an 18.6% increase. The programme features 200 demonstrations of forestry machinery, systems and processes, with awards for the innovations that best improve the sector.
