Galiforest Abanca surpasses its all-time records for exhibitors and floor space fifteen days before opening
Fifteen days before opening, the eighth edition of the Galiforest Abanca forestry show, to be held from 2 to 4 July on the woodland and facilities of the Sergude Agricultural Training and Experimentation Centre (Boqueixón), near Santiago de Compostela, is already beating its historical participation records. The event, organised by the Feira Internacional de Galicia ABANCA with the support of the Xunta de Galicia, has 120 direct exhibitors confirmed, up from 107 at the 2024 edition, including many of the sector's most important companies. The net contracted surface has reached 18,056 square metres, compared with 15,306 at the previous edition — figures that not only exceed the last show but surpass the monographic event's all-time highs, reflecting the sector's broad backing and the show's consolidation as a forestry benchmark. Alongside the exhibition, the show will offer an engaging programme of activities aimed at professionals and other related profiles, including students linked to the sector: continuous machinery demonstrations, the Innovation Contest and a symposium are among the proposals being designed by the organisers and the event committee to encourage participation, interaction and exchange, reinforcing the show's character as the sector's meeting point.
