International fair Mindtech holds a networking event in Madrid to present its 5th edition

Industrial trade fair Mindtech, 'Where Industry Meets Technology', held a networking event on Friday 5 June at the Casa de Galicia in Madrid to present its 5th edition, which will take place from 27 to 29 April 2027 at the Ifevi venue in Vigo. The gathering, titled 'Connecting Industry and Technology', kicks off the cycle of national and international networking events ahead of the fair, which is organised by ASIME, the Galician metal industry cluster grouping more than 600 companies. Mindtech's director general, Enrique Mallón, presented the fair as 'the meeting point for the metal industry and its associated technologies'; the organisers expect to surpass 200 exhibitors and reach 10,000 visitors, noting that more than half of the exhibitors come from outside Galicia and even from other countries — evidence of the Iberian Pole's growing global industrial profile. The event premiered the Mindtech 2027 promotional video and featured a panel discussion with Grupo Oesía, Yaskawa and Semantic Systems on industrial digitalisation, robotics and automation, and dual-use technologies. In previous editions, Mindtech averaged more than 200 exhibitors, 10,000 visitors, 70 speakers and 250 B2B meetings per edition, drawing participants from markets including Japan, South Korea, China, Mexico, Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
