The Liderpack Awards celebrate their 30th anniversary at Equiplast

The Liderpack 2025 awards ceremony was held on 2 June within Equiplast, in an edition marking the competition's 30th anniversary that gathered more than 200 attendees. The top Best-in-Show honours went jointly to bonÀrea's RetornA circular economy system for returning and reusing chicken trays and to the Minoric Gin bottle designed by agency Small* in the packaging category, while in point-of-sale displays the jury singled out the sustainable, self-assembling display for Salsas Espinaler developed by Klingele Embalajes Iberia. Organised by the Spanish Packaging Association of Graphispack Asociación and Fira de Barcelona's Hispack show, the Liderpack Awards have become a national benchmark and serve as the gateway to the WorldStar for Packaging Awards of the World Packaging Organization, where Spain ranks among the most recognised countries. In total, 46 packaging awards, 15 POS awards and 18 young design awards were presented — the latter category gathering the finalists of the National Packaging Design and Sustainability Awards — with representatives of 31 companies collecting trophies; the most awarded included Miralles Cartonajes, DS Smith Tecnicarton, Flexomed, Rajapack and Smurfit Westrock España. The 2026 call for entries opens on 15 June, and the next winners will collect their awards at Hispack, to be held from 7 to 11 May 2027 at the Gran Via venue.
