Organic Foods Reaches Record Scale at Alimentaria+Hostelco 2026
The Organic Foods section at Alimentaria+Hostelco will reach its largest-ever scale at the March 23-26, 2026 edition in Barcelona. Pavilion 5 of the Gran Via venue hosts 1,450 m² dedicated to organic products, with over 200 brands and a Spanish producers pavilion backed by the Ministry of Agriculture. Companies include Biocop, Eurosoy, Gourmet Eco Foods, Hortec, Jijona and Natruly, alongside international participants from South Korea (Jinju Bio Industry Foundation), Ecuador, Italy (Vivi Così, Molino Rivetti, Good in Food) and France (Aromatech, Nossa Fruits). New for 2026 is La Plaza Eco, a space for conferences, debates and networking, where the Ecovalia 2026 Annual Report and the INTERECO 2025 Data Report will be presented. A Ruta Eco circuit guides visitors to all organic exhibitors throughout the fair. Over 600 international buyers have already expressed interest. The overall fair celebrates its 50th anniversary with around 3,300 exhibitors across 100,000 m² and 7 pavilions, expecting over 110,000 professional visitors — 25% international. The Spanish organic food market has surpassed 3 billion euros.
