Padel World Summit 2026 Connects Sport and Business Opportunities

The third edition of Padel World Summit (PWS), the world's largest padel trade event organized by Fira de Barcelona and the International Padel Cluster, will be held May 26-28 in hall 6 of the Gran Via venue with 140 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and a 35% increase in commercial floor space. Under the motto "Where Padel meets Business", 56% of exhibitors are international, led by France, Italy, the UK, Belgium, Finland, Sweden and China. The offering spans the entire value chain — from sports equipment to court construction — with brands such as Adidas, Joma, HEAD, Babolat, Playtomic, Padel Nuestro and Skechers. The Global Padel Conference gathers ninety speakers, including Bill Ullman (USPA president) and former world number one Inés Álvarez, while ten courts will host matches and brand activations featuring figures such as Fernando Belasteguín and Carolina Navarro. Organizers expect to surpass the 6,000 professional visitors of the previous edition. According to the International Padel Federation, the sport — invented by Enrique Corcuera in Acapulco in 1969 — now exceeds 35 million players, 24,600 clubs and 77,300 courts worldwide; Playtomic and PwC's Global Padel Report 2025 values the sector at close to 2 billion euros, forecast to reach 6 billion in 2026. Spain leads with around 900 million euros, more than 4,500 clubs, 17,000 courts and 111,000 federated players.
