Piscina Barcelona 2027 Prioritizes the Quality of Its Offering and Professional Visitors
Piscina Barcelona, to be held from November 15 to 18, 2027 at the Gran Via venue, is preparing its next edition with a strategy focused on boosting its international projection, the quality of its commercial offering and the attraction of high-value professional profiles. Organized by Fira de Barcelona in collaboration with the ASOFAP employers' association, the show expects to gather more than 450 exhibitors from 30 countries and surpass 20,000 visitors, 15% more than in 2025, with a markedly international character: 70% of exhibiting companies and 60% of visitors come from outside Spain. The launch was formalized with the first meeting of its Organizing Committee, chaired by Carles Franquesa, Fluidra's president for southern Europe, Australia and New Zealand, who takes over from Eloi Planes after seven editions, with ASOFAP president Pedro Arrébola as vice-chair. A year and a half before the event, the fair already has 75% of its planned surface reserved, with 240 exhibitors from 27 countries confirmed across more than 46,000 gross square meters in Halls 1 and 2. The 2027 edition emphasizes the quality of demand, prioritizing profiles with prescription capacity and purchasing decision power, paying particular attention to the installer's role and the distinction between professional and retail distribution channels. Four working commissions with more than 50 experts have also been set up to strengthen the show's positioning as Europe's benchmark hub for the pool, wellness and outdoor industry.
