First SICON Mexico International Construction Week Opens April 14-16 in Guadalajara

The first edition of SICON Mexico (Semana Internacional de la Construccion Mexico), organized by IFEMA MADRID and Expo Guadalajara in collaboration with the Mexican Chamber of the Construction Industry (CMIC), will be held April 14-16 at Expo Guadalajara. Building on more than 30 years of the SICON format in Spain, the event will host over 120 exhibitor brands across 5,000 square meters, targeting 5,000 professionals of whom 85% are expected to have purchasing decision power. Four construction chain segments are covered: structural work (obra negra), framing and cladding (obra gris), finishing and fit-out, and real estate. Confirmed exhibitors include John Deere-DIMANOR, TRACSA-CAT, ALOMEX and PRISA. The conference program, organized by CMIC, CANACO Guadalajara and the National Chamber of Housing Development, will feature CMIC national president Luis Mendez Jaled, Mexico Secretary of Infrastructure David Zamora Bueno, FIFA Host City Officer for the 2026 World Cup Montserrat Hidalgo and MADRING works manager Manuel Crespo.
