SICUR 2026 Launches SICUR Academia to Attract Young Security Talent

SICUR 2026, the 25th edition of the International Security Trade Fair (IFEMA MADRID, 24–27 February), will feature a new dedicated space called SICUR Academia on its final day, 27 February. Designed to attract young talent and strengthen vocational training in the security sector, the programme includes a roundtable on communicating security culture to younger generations led by INDESEC; the AES FUNDACIÓN Talento 360° presentation on professional formation pathways; the Talent4cyber cyber-defence hackathon run by the Spanish Joint Cyberspace Command; and the official launch of the Intermediate Vocational Qualification in Security. Sessions on fire protection hosted by CEPREVEN and TECNIFUEGO and a talk on occupational exoskeletons round out the day.
