Sports Summit Madrid Consolidates Its Growth and Moves to Hall 8 of IFEMA MADRID

Sports Summit Madrid (SSM), a project driven by MADCUP, was born with the vocation of connecting the sports industry and its associated sectors, creating a meeting space that facilitates real business opportunities and establishes itself as a benchmark for the entire sports ecosystem. In its second edition, taking place on June 17-18, the event has experienced remarkable growth, doubling its floor space compared with its first year. This increased demand for participation — from national and international companies as well as new verticals linked to the sports industry seeking to join the project — has driven a significant expansion of the space. As a result, IFEMA MADRID has proposed relocating the event to Hall 8 in order to guarantee the best possible experience for both exhibitors and visitors and to respond optimally to the high demand registered. The move will increase exhibition capacity, make it easier to incorporate new companies and activations, improve the layout of spaces, strengthen the experiential and activation areas, and continue boosting SSM's international positioning. The organizers see the expansion as a great opportunity for all participants, consolidating the project's growth and advancing toward its goal of becoming the great global meeting point for the sports industry.
