SRR 2026 Recycling Fair Confirms 100 Exhibitors and 16,000 sqm of Exhibition Space

Spain International Recovery and Recycling Fair (SRR 2026) is advancing strongly ahead of its June 9-11 edition at IFEMA Madrid, with 100 confirmed exhibitors — a 31.6% increase over the previous edition — and 16,000 sqm of exhibition space. Forty of the exhibitors are first-time participants, representing 40% of the total and 23% of commercialised space. The show reflects the strength of the Spanish recycling sector: over 5,000 companies, more than 33,000 direct jobs, and annual turnover exceeding 15 billion euros (1% of GDP). Key material flows managed include more than 6 million tonnes of ferrous scrap, 1.183 million tonnes of post-consumer plastic, 610,278 end-of-life vehicles, and 416,162 tonnes of WEEE. Extended Producer Responsibility systems (SCRAPS) will take a prominent role in the 2026 edition. The fair will generate synergies with TECMA, Global Mobility Call and the new SOCIOCARE show.
