The Book of Mormon Arrives at the Zaragoza Conference Centre

The Zaragoza Conference Centre will host the musical The Book of Mormon from January 21 to 24, 2027, one of the most acclaimed shows in today's theater scene. With this engagement, Zaragoza joins the national tour of a production that in Spain has won 17 awards and unanimous recognition as Best Musical of 2024 from the Talía Awards, Broadway World and the Musical Theatre Awards. The show arrives after three successful seasons in Madrid, where it was seen by more than 600,000 spectators across over 1,000 performances. The production is by ATG Entertainment, responsible for titles such as Mamma Mia!, Billy Elliot, Matilda, West Side Story, Les Misérables and Wicked, and is the work of South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone together with composer Robert Lopez, known for Frozen and Coco, with David Serrano directing in Spain. Performed simultaneously on Broadway and in London's West End, it has earned 9 Tony Awards and 4 Olivier Awards, including Best Musical at both ceremonies, and recently celebrated its 15th anniversary on Broadway, surpassing 10 million spectators. The story follows two young missionaries sent to Uganda whose religious message collides with harsh local reality, performed by a cast of 25 with a live band. Tickets for the four scheduled performances are already on sale.
