Tomorrow.Blue Economy to Analyze the Strategic Role of the Blue Economy

Fira de Barcelona will hold a new edition of the Tomorrow.Blue Economy World Congress (TBEWC) November 3-5 at the Gran Via venue, bringing together ports, public administrations, international organizations, research centers, companies and startups. The program is structured around three axes: Smart Ports, Piers of the Future; the Global Blue Finance Summit; and the Sustainable Ocean Summit, the latter two organized by the World Ocean Council. The Ocean Innovation Hub will host 50 international startups specialized in the blue economy. According to the United Nations, the blue economy contributes around 1.5 trillion dollars annually to the world economy and generates more than 30 million jobs; in Barcelona it encompasses more than 1,600 operators, some 51,000 jobs and annual turnover above 11 billion euros. The congress is held alongside the Smart City Expo World Congress and other parallel events.
