Tomorrow.City USA Explores in Florida an Urban Future That Shapes Our Present
On April 14-15, West Palm Beach will host Tomorrow.City USA (TMRWUSA), organized by Fira de Barcelona — one of 13 events the institution is organizing outside Spain in 2026. Under the motto "The future is now", the event expects around 3,000 attendees, more than 100 speakers and an exhibition area featuring leading urban-innovation companies and institutions such as Cisco, Dell Technologies, the Knight Foundation, the City of West Palm Beach and the U.S. Department of State. The show takes over from the four American editions of Smart City Expo held so far and aims to foster public-private collaboration in the United States. Its congress program is structured around nine themes: cutting-edge technologies, infrastructure, sports, talent and culture, security and GovTech, clean energy and resilience, transportation, health and wellbeing, and finance, with speakers including Henry Mack, Miami Dolphins owner Stephen Ross, Sacramento Kings chairman Vivek Ranadivé, and the mayors of Atlanta and West Palm Beach. The Startup City Pitch Competition, run with VentureFuel, will award the winning startup a 25,000-dollar investment plus access to pilot projects and strategic partners. Fira's 2026 international calendar also includes events in Brazil, Qatar, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Shanghai and Jordan.
