Transfiere 2026 Opens 15th Edition in Malaga with South Korea as Guest Country

Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, opens its 15th edition on February 24-26 at FYCMA in Malaga, organized by the Malaga City Council, the Junta de Andalucia, and the Spanish Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities. Over 600 entities, companies, and public administrations from more than 20 countries participate, alongside 50 universities and more than 300 speakers across 100 thematic panels. The Republic of Korea serves as guest country, with Hanbat University as invited academic institution. Key themes include technological sovereignty, dual-use technology innovation, the national deep tech strategy, artificial intelligence, public procurement of innovation, and Horizonte Europa funding. Alongside the opening, the III Global Innopolis Forum convenes representatives from innovation cities including Daejeon, Dortmund, Seattle, and Quebec to discuss science and technology cooperation. Transfiere Tracciona highlights the role of business in knowledge transfer, from large corporations to startups, with the Empresa Innovadora award also presented at this edition.
