Transfiere 2027 Returns March 10-12 as Europe's Meeting Point for Scientific and Technological Transfer
Transfiere, the European Forum for Science, Technology and Innovation, has confirmed its 2027 edition from March 10 to 12 at FYCMA (Trade Fairs and Congress Center of Malaga). Next year, companies, intermediate organizations, academia and public administrations will take part in a format more oriented toward connections and solutions with direct market impact, consolidating the forum's quadruple helix model. Among the novelties, Transfiere will incorporate new emerging and strategic thematic areas such as deep tech and entrepreneurship, computational deep tech, biotechnology and health, research security, and energy sovereignty, which will join already established fields such as artificial intelligence, dual-use technologies, sustainability, advanced materials and Public Procurement of Innovation. The forum will also host the OTC-CRUE Network conference, reinforcing the role of transfer offices and universities within the national innovation system. The latest edition brought together more than 4,700 professional visitors and over 700 entities, companies and public administrations from the R&D&I ecosystem, with representatives from 36 countries, more than 60 national and international universities, over 450 innovation intermediate organizations, more than 250 startups and 70 investors, consolidating Malaga as one of Europe's main meeting points for innovation and knowledge transfer. Transfiere is organized by the Malaga City Council, the Andalusian Regional Government and the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, with FYCMA as executive director.
