Alimentaria FoodTech 2026 and FIAB Renew Strategic Partnership for Food Innovation

Alimentaria FoodTech, the international food and food-technology fair organised by Fira de Barcelona, has renewed its collaboration agreement with FIAB, Spain's largest food and beverage industry federation, ahead of its edition scheduled for 6 to 8 October 2026 at the Gran Via venue. FIAB will join both the Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee, bringing a strategic vision across the full food value chain. The federation will also lead the jury for the Premios Emprende startup awards, which recognise entrepreneurial projects driving technological innovation in food processing and preservation. FIAB will additionally promote research and innovation through its Food for Life-Spain platform. Alimentaria FoodTech president Albert Puxan highlighted that the partnership enriches visitor quality and diversity.
