APEC CEO Summit 2026 to Be Held in Shenzhen

Xinhua reported on Sept. 10 that the APEC CEO Summit 2026 will be held in Shenzhen on Nov. 17-18, as a supporting event of the 33rd APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting that China, as host, will hold in Shenzhen on Nov. 18-19. A spokesperson for the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) said the summit, organised by CCPIT, carries the theme "Promoting Prosperity Together, Winning the Future Together" and will invite about 1,000 government and business representatives from APEC economies to discuss the Free Trade Area of the Asia-Pacific, connectivity, artificial intelligence, the digital economy, development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and sustainable development. CCPIT will also hold the fourth meeting of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) in Shenzhen on Nov. 14-16.
