Art Paris 2026 sets attendance record with 87,275 visitors and 165 exhibitors

Comexposium reported that Art Paris closed on Sunday 12 April 2026 with a record 87,275 visitors, up from 86,975 in 2025, and said sales were strong despite a tense international context. The 28th edition presented 165 exhibitors from 20 countries and two thematic routes: Babel, Art and Language in France, curated by Loïc Le Gall, and Repair, conceived by Alexia Fabre. Discovery-focused sections included Promises with 27 young galleries, French Design Art Edition with 18 exhibitors covering galleries and architect and designer studios, and Solo Show with 24 monographic presentations. The programme featured around a dozen talks plus exhibitions and installations, while an AfterShow party organised by fair partner BNP Paribas Banque Privée with Poush drew 4,000 people. A series of 38 events at Parisian institutions was reserved for VIP gallery guests and art professionals; 181 institutions and collectors circles from 26 countries attended, and 60 museum groups were given guided tours. Three prizes were awarded, including the BNP Paribas Banque Privée Prize worth 40,000 euros to Sara Ouhaddou of Galerie Polaris and the Her Art Prize worth 30,000 euros to Elsa Sahal of Galerie Papillon.
