Barcelona Convention Bureau reports early success of its 2025 Legacy Program

The Barcelona Convention Bureau (BCB) has released initial results for its Legacy Program, launched in 2025, which aims to integrate long-term community benefits into events. In its first year, five congresses generated positive local impact, two long-term legacy projects were launched, and over 650 community members benefited. A key example is the collaboration with the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE) on colorectal cancer prevention.
