Barcelona Wine Week 2026 Projects as Spain's Premier International Wine Showcase

Barcelona Wine Week (BWW) will hold its next edition from 2 to 4 February 2026 at the Montjuïc venue of Fira de Barcelona, reinforcing its role as the principal international showcase for quality Spanish wine. The fair will bring together over 1,350 wineries — representing one in three Spanish wineries and 5% more than 2025 — from 90 Denominaciones de Origen across Spain, including Ribera del Duero, Rioja, Priorat, Rueda, Cava, Jumilla, La Mancha and Alicante. The exhibition area spans 10,900 square metres, 9% larger than 2025. In collaboration with ICEX, the event will host over 880 international buyers from Europe, the Americas and Asia, generating approximately 13,500 business meetings. This edition pays special tribute to Spain's great wine family dynasties — Torres, Vega Sicilia, Gramona, Roqueta Origen and José Pariente — who will share their legacy and vision for the future. The programme features over 80 activities and 136 national and international experts, including renowned Financial Times critic Jancis Robinson and eight Masters of Wine. A new Alimarket study reveals that 94% of Spanish wine consumers drink wine outside the home, and 76% rate Spanish wine as good or very good quality.
