CADEAUX Leipzig 2026 Autumn Edition Closes with 5,700 Trade Visitors
The autumn edition of CADEAUX Leipzig ran from 5 to 7 September and drew 5,700 trade visitors, with more than 250 exhibitors and brands from 12 countries showing lifestyle products. Organiser Leipziger Messe said willingness to order was noticeable despite challenging conditions in specialist retail, and that many visitors from central Germany, Berlin and Brandenburg were buying for the Christmas trade and the coming spring season. Food was a focus of this edition: live cooking shows, workshops and talks ran in the Genuss-Village, and a newly added, centrally placed Genuss-Insel let buyers taste products ranging from delicatessen and coffee to sweet specialities. Erzgebirge craft featured again, with the special show „Dauerbrenner – Bestseller der Räuchermannkunst“. Woodturning company Drechslerei Kuhnert marked its 40th anniversary at the fair and presented new products.
