23rd China-ASEAN Expo to Debut Departure Tax Refund Service Point

According to a People's Daily report citing the China-ASEAN Expo Secretariat, the 23rd China-ASEAN Expo will set up a departure tax refund service point for the first time, located in the first-floor lobby of Zone B at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center. Overseas buyers who make purchases at designated merchants in Nanning, Guangxi, can complete refund procedures on site, with multilingual consultation and step-by-step guidance available at the same location, a move intended to further encourage overseas buyers to travel to China to attend the event and spend. The show floor will also bring together cross-border finance, commercial legal, exhibit logistics and on-site guide services covering the full exhibiting process. The Secretariat said it will refine convenience measures, improve smart services and expand supporting offerings to give exhibitors and buyers a more convenient experience.
