Canadian exhibitor numbers at CIIE more than double since 2022

The Toronto leg of the Canadian promotion series for the 9th China International Import Expo was held at the Bank of China headquarters in Canada on the afternoon of 22 May 2026 local time. A Bank of China representative said the number of Canadian exhibiting companies at the expo has grown from about 50 in 2022 to more than 120 in 2025, and that the bank supports Canadian firms both in attending the expo and in converting contacts into business partnerships. Canada is the guest of honour country for the 9th CIIE, which takes place at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November 2026.
