ceramitec 2026 draws 485 exhibitors and 12,000 visitors after repositioning
ceramitec ran in Munich from 24 to 26 March 2026 with 485 exhibitors from 38 countries, an international exhibitor share of 66%, and around 12,000 visitors from 74 countries across 33,000 sqm. About 120 companies were either first-time exhibitors or returning after a long absence. Collin Davis, Executive Director of Capital Goods Shows, said the higher exhibitor count, strong international presence and return of many companies show how relevant the fair is and that the repositioning was well received. Jürgen Blumm of Netzsch, chairman of the ceramitec advisory board, said his company saw considerably more visitors at its stand despite the difficult geopolitical environment and that interest in new ceramic materials technologies remains high. Exhibition director Maritta Lepp pointed to the quality of conversations and new contacts. The fair covered the full spectrum from traditional ceramics to highly specialised applications in areas such as the energy transition, medical technology and mobility.
