China and Austria mark 55 years of ties with CIIE promotion in Vienna

Wu Zhengping, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau and chairman of the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai, gave a presentation on the 9th China International Import Expo at an event hosted by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber on 2 June 2026 marking 55 years of diplomatic relations between Austria and China and 60 years of bilateral economic and trade cooperation. About 200 representatives of Chinese and Austrian business attended. Wu said economic and trade cooperation between the two countries has produced substantial results over the 55 years since relations were established.
