China Carried Out 1,259 Outbound Exhibition Projects Across 57 Countries and Regions in 2025

CCPIT approved a total of 1,652 planned outbound exhibition projects for 2025, of which 1,259 were actually implemented during the year, up 6.58% and 7.98% respectively on 2024. These comprised 1,156 group participations in overseas trade fairs and 103 exhibitions organised by Chinese bodies abroad, involving 70 accredited organisers and spanning 57 countries and regions. Participating companies numbered 47,700 and total exhibition floor space came to 683,800 square metres, down 4.7% and 2.88% respectively on the year. By region, Asia took 520 projects, or 41.3% of the total; Africa grew fastest with 59 projects, up 31.11%; and Latin America and the Caribbean took 124 projects, up 21.57%. Western Europe held 262 projects, its share slipping from 22.38% to 20.81%, and North America 130 projects, down from 12.26% to 10.33%. By destination country, Germany with 145 projects, the United States with 126 and Russia with 121 remained the top three markets for Chinese exhibitors going abroad.
