China's Three Big Economic Clusters Held 53.85% of Its Trade Exhibitions and 62.48% of Floor Space in 2025

The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, the Yangtze River Delta and the Pearl River Delta, China's three largest economic clusters, together accounted for 53.85% of China's trade and economic exhibitions by number in 2025 and 62.48% by floor space. The Yangtze River Delta staged 1,179 events across 49.41 million square metres, or 28.79% of the national count and 31.06% of national floor space, leading the three clusters on both measures. The Pearl River Delta staged 615 events across 37.16 million square metres, 15.02% and 23.36% respectively. Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei staged 411 events across 12.82 million square metres, 10.04% and 8.06% respectively. Against 2024, exhibition space grew 8.65% in the Yangtze River Delta and 3.71% in the Pearl River Delta, while Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei fell 14.24%. Within these clusters, the four cities of Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen alone accounted for 29.33% of all trade and economic exhibitions held in China during the year and 41.4% of the country's total exhibition floor space.
