Chinese Ambassador to AU Jiang Feng Attends 140th Canton Fair African Union Promotion Event

On July 7, Chinese Ambassador and Head of Mission to the African Union Jiang Feng attended the 140th Canton Fair promotion event and delivered a speech, hosted by Minister-Counsellor Lv Ruihao. Over 600 China-Africa government and business representatives attended online and offline, making it the largest-ever Canton Fair promotion by scale and participating countries. Ambassador Jiang stated that economic and trade cooperation is the cornerstone of China-Africa relations. COFTEC Director Zhu Yong noted it was the first time in the fair's 70-year history to enter an international organization, creating a new China-Africa cooperation platform. AU Commission Deputy Director Omar encouraged African enterprises and chambers of commerce to actively participate.
