2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services closes

The 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) closed on 13 September 2026 after a five-day run at Shougang Park. At a press conference held that day, China's Ministry of Commerce and the Beijing Municipal Commerce Bureau said the fair staged a theme exhibition and nine specialised exhibitions and held 200 forums, conferences and business promotion events, with more than 1,830 companies exhibiting on site, including 473 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading companies, and more than 5,300 exhibiting online. About 116,000 professional visitors registered, up 3.7% year on year, and as of noon on 13 September the core area had recorded nearly 420,000 entries, up 36.6%. The Global Trade in Services Summit was co-hosted for the first time by UNCTAD and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) together with the People's Government of Beijing Municipality and the Ministry of Commerce. A total of 103 companies and institutions released 233 outcomes, the delegation of guest-of-honour country Norway signed six cooperation agreements, 36 key projects were signed at the Invest Beijing promotion event, and the fair produced more than 1,200 outcomes in total. It organised 81 supporting events, 80% more than at the previous edition.
