2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services culture and tourism services exhibition announces premieres

A press conference held on 2 September 2026 for the culture and tourism services exhibition of the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) said the exhibition, themed on culture-tourism integration empowered by digital and intelligent technologies, would occupy Halls 7 and 9 at Shougang Park with 413 on-site exhibitors, including 49 foreign-invested institutions (an internationalisation rate of 11.8%) and 84 Fortune Global 500 and industry-leading companies, and would feature six global premieres and 19 national premieres. According to the press conference, a cultural relic and artwork registration and trading scenario combining precise microscopic image identity registration with full-process blockchain certification would make its first appearance in China, and an immersive digital art exhibition on Qi Baishi would premiere globally. Bai Jie, deputy director and spokesperson of the Beijing Municipal Cultural Heritage Bureau, said the heritage area would include a trading zone where 10 to 15 certified cultural relics and artworks would be shown for sale.
