2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services engineering consulting and construction services exhibition opens

The engineering consulting and construction services exhibition of the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) opened with the fair on 9 September 2026 in Hall 11 at Shougang Park, with its exhibition period scheduled to run until 13 September. Co-hosted by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Planning and Natural Resources under the theme "Full-Chain Empowerment, Smart Construction for the Future", it has four sections: design consulting, intelligent and green construction, operation and maintenance services, and showcase and promotion of international achievements. The exhibition area totals 4,800 square metres, with 60 domestic and international exhibitors. Exhibits include air-membrane foundation-pit construction, building deformation monitoring robots and a large AI model for construction-site safety supervision, alongside urban renewal cases such as old neighbourhood renovation, heritage restoration and structural renovation of old buildings.
