9th China International Import Expo Holds Buyer Recruitment Roadshow in Chongqing

The China International Import Expo website reported on 11 September that a buyer recruitment roadshow for the 9th China International Import Expo was held in Chongqing on 10 September, run in tandem with the "Export to China" series of events and built around a main promotion session and a medical-sector symposium. More than 30 exhibitors from the expo's medical equipment and healthcare products, trade in services, technical equipment and food and agricultural products zones and its innovation incubation section met over 160 buyers from Chongqing. Ge Hong, deputy director of the China International Import Expo Bureau, outlined preparations for the ninth edition and invited Chongqing companies to attend; Zuo Yang, deputy director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, invited exhibitors to pursue trade and investment cooperation in the city; Canada's consul general in Chongqing said Canada looks forward to appearing as guest country of honour. An on-site CIIE display and matchmaking corridor brought more than ten exhibitors face to face with buyers.
