CIIE holds Australia promotion events in Sydney

Promotion activities for the 9th China International Import Expo were held in Sydney on 26 and 27 February 2026 local time, comprising a promotion session on the first morning and a seminar on the second. Attendees included Li Guoqing, deputy director of the CIIE Bureau; Ye Wei, counsellor at the economic and commercial office of the Chinese consulate general in Sydney; Susan Kahwati, general manager for green energy, agriculture, food and fast-moving consumer goods in the investment and trade division of Austrade; Anna Fedeles, general manager for international business at Trade and Investment Queensland; Patrick Mayoh, chief executive of the Australia China Business Council; Li Mang, head of the Sydney branch of Bank of China; Chen Jianyu, head of the Sydney branch of ICBC; and Australian company representatives. Participants discussed encouraging more Australian companies to exhibit and attend.
